PALFINGER World
Highlights
What is really behind a PALFINGER crane? Decades of experience, innovation and high technology... to name just a few. Below is an abstract from the many reasons for choosing a PALFINGER crane. Simply click on the picture to start the video.
Highlights (Video)
AOS-System
AOS system – the patented Active Oscillation Suppression system compensates for the jolts and sudden load changes which occur during crane operation. In that the crane’s stress oscillations are suppressed the work can proceed much more quickly and cost-efficiently.

Fly-Jibs
PALFINGER fly-jibs are impressive due to their low dead weight (use of STE 1100 steel), long hydraulic outreaches and a knuckle-boom system which can be angled upwards.

Crane geometry
The superior movement geometry of PALFINGER cranes was developed using computer animation. Boom lengths and working speeds are perfectly matched.

KTL
KTL – the cataphoretic dip paint system. The shot-blasted crane parts are covered in zinc phosphate in an immersion process and coated electro-statically. The subsequent two-component top coating of paint provides a surface protection which in the past was common only in the automotive industry.

Load holding valves
Load holding valves are fitted as standard on the elevating and knuckle-boom cylinder as well as on the extension boom. Their position protects against damage, and their purpose is to prevent uncontrolled lowering of the booms.
