Hexagonal Booms PALFINGER Service Cranes (PSC) use the most technologically designed booms in the Service Crane market. The use of hexagonal booms allow for a greater strength to weight ration than rectangular booms. This design promotes self centering of the booms during extension and retraction, and promotes long wear pad life. Hexagonal booms also develop less boom deflection during lifting and have less side to side movement during rotation. All of these features help to create a crane with high quality finite control ability. |

Manual Override Controls PALFINGER'S PSC products feature "true" operators handles on the control valve. While minute push buttons overrides are the industry norm, only PALFINGER superceeds the norm with a state of the art control valve that also incorporates control handles for override operations. This system proves invaluable should the standard control system become damaged. The operator still has the ability to operate his PALFINGER PSC crane and finish his job. The industry push button overrides are strictly meant to stow the crane. With PALFINGER, the operator can always finish the job. |

Radio Remote Control (standard) PALFINGER uses hand held radio remote controls to operate its PSC cranes. The elimination of a control cable from the hand held controller to the crane has several advantages. The operator is given the freedom to locate himself in the safest position he deems possible. He will not have to drag a cord through the mud or in water. Also the operator is able to place the radio remote down while turning wrenches without having to worry about a cord pulling the controller off the piece of equipment he is maintaining. Quite simply, the PALFINGER radio remote control gives the operator the best control environment available. |
